Local councillor Tom Papworth has been selected to fight the Bexley and Bromley constituency in the London elections. The Liberal Democrats came second in Bexley and Bromley at the last London Assembly elections, pushing Labour into fourth place.

Liberal Democrat Cllr David McBride attended the re-opening of The Duke Youth Centre in St Mary Cray on Saturday. The Centre was re-opened after a fire last year by fellow Cray Valley East Cllr Brenda Thompson. Cllr Martin Curry also joined in the event.
